Regular large temperature changes often result in less comfort and higher energy use.
Why does underfloor heating respond slowly?
The heat is stored in the floor structure.
As a result, it takes longer before a temperature change becomes noticeable. This is normal for underfloor heating.

- Keep the temperature stable.
- Don't reset the thermostat daily.
- Make sure floors aren't fully covered by thick floor coverings.
