Is your boiler showing a fault? Then it can sometimes help to reset the boiler.
A reset resolves minor faults, but does not fix the cause of a recurring fault.
How do you reset the boiler?
Most boilers have a reset button on the appliance.
Press the reset button briefly and wait a few minutes until the boiler has restarted.
The location of the reset button can differ per brand and model.
Does the fault keep coming back?
Does the same fault return after resetting? Then there is probably an underlying cause that needs to be investigated.
Don't keep resetting the boiler repeatedly if the same fault keeps occurring.
When should you contact us?
Contact Bouma when:
- The fault comes back immediately.
- The boiler no longer starts up.
- You have no heating or hot water.
