When your boiler no longer provides hot water, this can have several causes.
A boiler normally provides both heating and hot tap water. When one of these functions stops working, this can point to a fault or a problem with a part of the installation.
What can you check yourself?
First check the following points:
- Is the boiler switched on?
- Does the heating still work?
- Is the boiler showing an error code?
- Is the water pressure of the boiler correct?
You can also check whether the problem occurs at all taps or only at one tap.
Possible causes
Common causes are:
- A fault in the boiler.
- A problem with the hot water supply.
- Water pressure that's too low.
- A problem with a sensor or part in the boiler.
With some faults, the boiler can still heat but not supply hot water.
When should you contact us?
Contact Bouma when:
- There's no hot water available at all.
- The fault keeps coming back.
- The boiler shows an error code.
- You can't find the cause.
Note down the brand and model of your boiler where possible, and take a photo of the display. This helps us assess your request faster.
