A boiler only works properly when the water pressure is within the correct range.
Water pressure that's too low can mean your home heats less well or that the boiler shows a fault.
What water pressure is normal?
For most boilers, the ideal water pressure is roughly between 1.5 and 2.0 bar when the installation is cold.
A small deviation doesn't always have to be a problem straight away, but a clearly too-low pressure can cause faults.
What can you check yourself?
Check the pressure on the display or the pressure gauge of your boiler.
Is the pressure too low? Then it may be necessary to top up the installation.
