An error code on your boiler means the boiler has detected a problem and may have switched itself off.
The error code helps determine where the problem lies. The meaning of an error code differs per brand and model of boiler.
What can you check yourself?
Before contacting us, you can check a few things:
- Note down the error code shown on the display.
- Check whether the water pressure of the boiler is sufficient.
- Check whether the boiler is getting power.
- Check whether no other messages are shown on the display.
Sometimes a fault can be temporarily resolved by restarting the boiler. Does the error code return afterwards? Then it's wise to have the cause investigated further.
When should you contact us?
Contact Bouma when:
- The error code keeps coming back.
- The boiler no longer heats.
- You no longer have hot water.
- You don't know what the error code means.
Take a photo of the display with the error code where possible. This helps us assess your request faster.
