Does one radiator not heat up while the other radiators in the house heat properly? Then this doesn't necessarily mean there's a fault with your boiler.
This problem can have several causes and is often easy to identify.
What can you check?
First check the following points:
- Check whether the radiator valve is fully open.
- Check whether the thermostat is calling for heat.
- Compare the temperature of the other radiators in the home.
- Check whether the water pressure of the boiler is sufficient.
Does one radiator stay cold while the rest of the installation works well? Then further investigation may be needed.
Possible causes
This problem can be caused by, among other things:
- Air in the radiator.
- A stuck radiator valve.
- A problem in the installation.
- A defective part.
The exact cause can only be determined after inspection.
